Founded in 1597 in central London, Gresham College has provided the public with free lectures for over 400 years. The college hosts lectures on a variety of topics including: art and literature, business, history, law, mathematics, medical science, music, politics, religion and science. It also has a category called unusual for topics such as climate change and the environment. Examples of popular lectures include: “Your day is my night: London’s Underground never sleeps” and “The Story of e”. While lectures are available to the public both by attending Gresham College’s lecture halls or by visiting the college’s website, Gresham College does not enrol students or grant degrees.
