James Cook University

James Cook University (JCU) is one of the oldest universities in Queensland, Australia and located in the city of Townsville.  It was listed in the ARWU top 400 academic world universities in 2008.

Located in tropical Northern Queensland close to the great barrier reef, it’s main fields of research include marine sciences, tropical health care and tourism, sustainable management of tropical ecosystems and biodoversity.
