Massachusetts Institute of Technology

MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts is one the the worlds leading science and technology research and teaching insititutions.  It has a student population of around 10,000 and has been associated with 76 Nobel Prize winners and 50 National Medal of Science recipients. 

It has a highly entrepreneurial culture and companies founded by almuni are equivalent to the world’s 17th largest economy in aggrevated revenues.  The university has an annual research budget of around $700million and an $8billion endowment.
