Paris Diderot University

Located in Paris, the Paris Diderot University was once part of the University of Paris; however, it has been operating independently since 1970 and under the name of L’Université Paris Diderot since 1994. Its current campus opened in 2007. Approximately 26,000 students attend Paris Diderot University and about 7000 graduate each year. The University awards 19 different undergraduate degrees. Over 2,000 doctoral students study in the School of Arts, Literature and Languages, School of Social Sciences, and School of Science, Technology and Health. Research is conducted in three sectors: medicine, science, and arts, humanities and the social sciences.
